To Christopher Warley and the other participants in the ongoing thread on Spenserian monopoly-capitalist sprezzatura, profound thanks for a wonderful discussion. I've been too busy to give it the attention it deserves but it's now safe in an orange folder, and I want to say how helpful it is to me as I get ready to revise some forty years of slubberly hems and haws (i.e., thought) in the passages of Mammon's Cave.
