Dear all, A message from Graham Haughton: Graduate Teaching Assistant (3 years) - Geography. £10,500 p.a. plus waived tuition fees for postgraduate study This post is available in any area of Human or Physical Geography. The successful candidate will provide around 200 hours a year of teaching support(a mix of lab, class, field and tutorial work) and register for a higher degree, MPhil/PhD, with the Department. Candidates will ideally be able to start in September/October 2004. The closing date for applications is Friday 3rd September. Candidates should provide a 1-2 page summary of their area of research interest. They may want to contact a relevant member of the department to see if they are willing to supervise their work. A short list of possible themes suggested by staff will be placed on www.hull.ac.uk/geog - however, this list is not exclusive and topics in economic geography are paticularly welcome. All proposals will be carefully considered and the best application selected.
