COPYRIGHT FOR LIBRARIANS
This course is designed to explain
the basic of intellectual property
right to librarians, putting it in the context of their daily work. It is run
by a librarian rather than a legal expert.

* have considered what use can be
made of copyright material
* have considered the range of licensing
and other schemes to allow
use of copyright material
* be aware of the nature of copyright
in electronic and digital resources
(including the Internet)
* know about current developments
in copyright
Who should attend?
This course is designed for any member
of library staff who may have
to deal with queries about copyright in library materials. It is not a
lawyer's course and is intended to give practical help in situations
encountered by library staff.
