In 2002 the DC-Internationalisation Working Group surveyed subscribers
of DC-Internationalisation to find out the status of DCMES
translations.

In 2002 the ULIS registry [1] had descriptions of Simple DC elements
in 22 languages. The languages included; Arabic, Chinese (China),
Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek,
Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Maori, Norwegian, Polish,
Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian.
In 2004 the DCMI references 27 translations of the Dublin Core Element
Set, and seven of these include Qualified DCMES.
http://dublincore.org/resources/translations/ Twenty-four languages
are in the DC Registry, including Simple and Qualified DC and there are
4 distributed DC Registries in Germany: University of Goettingen; Japan:
University of Tsukuba, U.S.A: OCLC and China: Chinese Academy of
Science.
We would like to update the 2002 survey information of the current
status of translations and also request further information about local
and domain specific activities, from you the subscribers of this list.

documentation: the Dublin Core metadata element set" been reproduced by
the ISO national member organisation in your country.
3. If ISO15836 has not been reproduced in your country is there any
national level activity occuring?

in your country?
5. Have you found translation(s) of Simple DC in your language(s)?:
