  Subject: Heritage Counts stats

Last month I emailed a request for stats for this years Heritage Counts Report to every HER Officer. So far Ive had about half back (its possible some of my email addresses are out of date). Ben Cowell spoke at the meeting on the 7th about Heritage Counts and getting more information on HERs in the next report.
During its first two years Heritage Counts has had very minimal indicators for HERs/SMRs/UADs. These have been based on the Content and Computing Survey 2002 and last years monument record count. The stats we're collecting now are yo try and improve this and identify some trends. I have placed the form on the file archive at
www.jiscmail.ac.uk/files/HERFORUM/English_Heritage_HER_Trends_Survey_2004.doc I'd be grateful if as many of you as possible who haven't aleready returned forms could do so. The results are already looking interesting and I'd like to thank all those who have contributed so far.

  Regards

  Martin
