Little museum records history of California parole system
Associated Press
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. - If the T.H. Pendergast California Parole Museum seems a little small, don't blame parole agent Paul Toma.
He alone spent 14 years on his days off collecting artifacts, interviewing retired officers and finding money to open what has become a state-funded museum that honors the parole system and its officers.

genealogists to swear by it and some researchers to swear at it.
With upwards of 2 billion names contained in its databases ranging from U.S. Census to vital
records to immigration extracts to just about anything else, there is no doubt that
Ancestry.com is a powerful tool for genealogists.
