Hello everyone Something of interest for our UK members - the Local Government International Bureau is putting on a series of 'roadshows' round the UK which are free to anyone who'd like to attend. The roadshows will explain how the EU works and what it means for the local authorities of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Key figures from each region will discuss issues of relevance to their area, with case studies of schemes that have brought a European dimension. The first of the roadshows will take place in the North East, at the Glebe Centre, Murton, Co Durham on 14 June from 9.45am to 2pm.
