Dear All, I am conducting research into the psychological and social problems faced by late-deafened people. The aim of the research is to find ways to help individuals and their families overcome the difficulties that result from late-onset profound deafness. I would much appreciate your help in bringing our online survey to the attention of any of your contacts who are so affected. The research is a joint project between the LINK Centre for Deafened People (UK) and Greenwich University, London, with whom I am employed. The survey can be accessed through the charity's website (near foot of page): http://www.linkcentre.org/ or directly at: http://www.linkcentre.org/questionnaire/ Although the main concern of the research is people with late-onset profound deafness, we also need information from those whose deafness is not at this advanced stage. All details given will remain confidential and no names, or email or postal addresses are required. There is an opportunity for some UK respondents to take part in a later interview process if they wish to help further. Thank you in advance, Paul Ashton Project Researcher [log in to unmask] ________________End of message______________________ Archives and tools for the Disability-Research Discussion List are now located at: www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/disability-research.html You can JOIN or LEAVE the list from this web page.
