There is increasing activity going on both in the UK and other countries in developing and evaluating community based caseload midwifery. There is increasing interest both by women and midwives in this way of working and a need to share learning in relation to developing and organising care and how to evaluate it.

It is not the intention to replicate the content of existing lists, but to have a place specifivcally on this issue where learning and discussion can be shared. There is an area on the web site for reports, data collection instruments to be stored and shared.

To join the list please go to
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/CASELOADMIDWIFERY.html

It would be very helpful for you to introduce yourself in your first message to the list and if you would like to post anything for others to read, please send to me to load onto the web site.

Best wishes
