I should like to get hold of a map of the dioceses, sub-divided into
parishes, of England, for display on a wall.
a) I have received from the Church Commissioners Mapping Dept. a coloured A3
map entitled Dioceses of England, (January 1990,
scale: 1": 30ml / 1; 1,900,800) showing dioceses only, and
b) I have found this on COPAC:
Title Details: Map of the Dioceses of the Church of England and the
Church in Wales. [Signed:] T.R. Williams
Scale: Scale 1: 2 100 000
Publisher: London : Church Information Board, 1954
Physical desc.: 297 x 348 mm
which is of similar size and scale, but is fifty years old and out-of-print.
Can anyone point me towards a more modern (and larger!) version - if there
is one (it may be that such a map is too large, and that a series of
diocesan maps are the only ones to show parishes)?
Will post result if anyone is interested.
