Subject: Re: BAEM
I thought this would take a referendum from the
membership, i.e. the whole membership? Surely such a momentous
change can't be passed based solely upon the votes of those few present
at yesterday's meeting? What does the Constitution say on the matter? And what
does Her Majesty's Government say on the matter? In other words, will our
CCSTs be changed in the specialist register to Emergency Medicine, and will
our departments be renamed Emergency Departments, or does this only apply to
the name of our association?
