medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Hi again, Meg, Catherine's canonization process was edited by M. H. Laurent, "Il Processo Castellano" In Fontes vitae S. Catharina Senensis Historicae, vol. 9. (Milan, 1942). This includes the questioning of witnesses, plus the bull for her canonization and the sermon pronounced during the canonization ceremony. Also useful is a treatise by her supporter, Thomas Antonii de Senis Caffarini, Libellus de Supplemento. (Rome, 1974). I discuss a variety of responses to her in my book, noted in an earlier message. best, Nancy Caciola History, UC San Diego ----- Original Message ----- From: Cormack, Margaret Jean To: Nancy Caciola Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2004 8:01 AM Subject: CULT of Katherine of Sienna medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Another query: Do any of the learned list members know of source of info (medieval or later) for the cult (as opposed to the writings) of Katherine of Sienna? Primary or other documents pertaining to her canonization process would also be appreciated.
