medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Does anyone have any quick comments about the saints being truly a part of the family in the middle ages? I have to give a speech on "home church" and want to point out that back then the people treated their saints really as part of their life -- actually, comments about the church and its place in life for that time period would be good, too.
