This evening EH is launching HELM (Historic Environment Local Management) I've placed the leaflet in the file store at www.jiscmail.ac.uk/files/HERFORUM/HELM.pdf This is a web site containing a range of expert guidance relating to buildings archaeology and landscapes aimed primarily at non-heritage professionals in local government including planner, engineers, estate managers and elected members. HELM can be accessed at www.helm.org.uk (after the launch event). You may wish to publicise this new recourse within your authority.
