National Institute for the Study of Learning Difficulties Trinity College, Dublin Director Administrative Officer The National Institute for the Study of Learning Difficulties has been established at Trinity College, Dublin with the generous help of a number of funders and is now seeking a Director and Administrative Officer. The main aim of the Institute is to become a Centre of Excellence in promoting the full inclusion of people with learning difficulties through policy development, innovative education programmes and high quality multi-disciplinary research. The Institute will work with people with learning difficulties and their families to develop a unique partnership with academic staff, students, service agencies, representative organisations and government departments. The Director will be expected to have a particular interest in human rights and to provide the dynamism and innovation necessary to fully realise the aims of the Institute. The Administrative Officer will be expected to provide a range of administrative supports to the Director and Management Committee. These positions are offered on a contract for three years and appointment on the salary scales will be subject to qualifications and experience.
