"wait and see"?.

Because the pattern of bruising was odd for injury.   She was mostly in a
"mohammedan praying" posture quite unaware of her surroundings or her
husbands presence - like a post-ictal state or the "fighting drunk" of
Saturday night fame, though no smell of alcohol.  Maybe like in an acute
psychosis?   She was very noisy.   Also because her vital signs stayed
normal.
Is it fair to apply Glasgow Coma Scoring to someone who may not have had a
head injury?  For those reasons I did not immediately intubate and scan
though SAH was in my mind, as was meningitis or some problem from her recent
pregnancy.
It often happens that odd presentations become less odd if you wait a bit.
Not always, but sometimes.

After 1 hour the vital signs were the same but her temp was 38.0
