Dear all,

I'm not a physiotherapist so please bare with me.  I'm the editor of a badminton research and information site - Badmintology: www.martinwells.com/Badmintology

I'm looking at the question of stretching.  The current research seems to be almost totally against stretching in the short term, because of increased risk of injury and decreased performance, and probably long term (higher rangers of motion have been associated with higher injury rates).

However, to my understanding stretching is commonly used in physiotherapy for rehabilitation.  Could you point me to any controlled research that supports its use?

Thanks
