medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

My Italian calendar lists Saint Pamela for Feb. 12, but I can't find any
information on her. Can anyone help me?

culture

Today (7. February) is the feast day of:

Adauctus (d. 304) Adauctus was an Italian, an imperial minister of
finance
employed at Nicomedia (Asia Minor). He was martyred when his Christian
convictions were discovered. Rufinus connects his death to the
destruction
of the entire Phrygian town of Antandro during the persecution.

Chrysolius (4th cent.) Chrysolius was an Armenian refugee from
Diocletian's pesecution who went to what is now Belgium as a missionary.
His fate caught up with him and he was martyred there. His relics are
in
Bruges.

Moses the Arab (d. c. 372) Moses was an Arab hermit who lived on the
Mediterranean coast of the Sinai Peninsula (modern El-Arish). He became
a
missionary bishop, evangelizing the Bedouin of the area.

Laurence Majoranus (d. c. 546) Laurence was bishop of Siponto (Italy)
from
492 until his death. He is notable as founder of the sanctuary of St.
Michael on Monte Gargano.

Luke the Younger (d. c. 946) Luke was a peasant from Aegina, Greece.
He
became a monk at Athens, then a hermit near Corinth, and finally settled
on
a mountain in Phocis. There he worked so many miracles that he won the
nickname "thaumaturge" and the mountain was renamed "Soterion" to
commemorate his miraculous powers.

Rizzerio (Richerius) (blessed) (d. 1236) Rizzerio was from near
Camerino
(Italy). When he was a student at Bologna he heard St. Francis
preaching,
so he joined the OFM, becoming a friend of the founder (he was present
at
F's death). R. later became a Franciscan provincial. His cult was
confirmed in 1838.
