Robert Murphy's "Body Silent" is an excellent example - he was an anthropology professor in the US and had a condition that increased in pain and difficulty over time so he wrote about the whole process. It is highly reflexive while also distinct from a narrative approach as it is quite theoretical too. p P. J.
