Can anyone point me in the direction of work surrounding the following (or associated) themes:

vandals/vandalism - who, why, how, types, geographies and so on
fear of crime and vandalism
perceptions/reactions to 'modifications' of the urban environment (ie _why_ do people react as they do to perceived vandalism)

work/strategies aimed at reducing 'fear' apparently 'produced' through vandalism
