East Central Europe and Post-Soviet Countries: nations, nationalities, culture, religion, history and politics". which will take place in Warsaw, July 18-21, 2004. Among the participants will be many famous scientists from Poland, Eastern Europe, United States and Western Europe. The Studium Europy Wschodniej (The Centre for East European Studies, Warsaw University) is one of the most important Polish institutes in the area of studies upon post-communist countries. Information materials containing all necessary details on the Convention have been distributed to a number of academic institutions and organizations, and are also available in all Polish diplomatic agencies, as well as on the Warsaw University web page (www.uw.edu.pl). Application forms should be submitted until 1st March 2004.
