The University of Maastricht (UM) in Maastricht, the Netherlands and the International Labour Office (ILO) jointly offer two one-year Master Programmes in the governance of social protection:

Social Protection Financing (SPF) and Social Protection Policy (SPP).

The Master Programmes train future specialists in social protection for insurance and consultancy companies, social security institutions, academic institutes, governments and international organisations. Participation in separate courses is possible. Additionally, Social Protection Training Modules (SPTM) are offered. These are short in-depth training units specifically geared to the needs of professionals and researchers. The modules range from applied skills trainings in poverty analysis to specialized courses in health care financing.
