Dear Jacqui, It just so happens that I'm in South Dakota at the moment working with a guy called Adrien Hannus who has looked at this issue quite a bit (albeit mainly with mammoth bone). I'll turn over the rest of this response to him....... Dear Jacqui, Glad to join the communication. I have some material regarding debutage from sites with bone flaking-especially regarding mammoth bone since that is my specific focus. I will gather several of the articles together and send them back with Alan, who can then forward them on to you. I try to locate some of the articles that are in regard to smaller mammals.
