Here is the web site for the conference CUPUM 05 http://www.cupum.org/ This next year (2005), the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) at UCL will be holding the 9th International Conference on Computers in Urban Management and Urban Planning in the heart of central London at University College London (UCL). The Conference is scheduled to run from Wednesday 29th June to Friday 1st July 2005. Future announcements will be on the conference web site http://www.cupum.org/ and the casa web site http://www.casa.ucl.ac.uk and also the conference web site. The cost of registration will be £150 for early registrants and £100 for students. Late registration will be £175 and £125 respectively. Abstracts are welcome within the following major themes: o NETWORKS: o MOBILITY: o URBANISATION: o PLANNING SYSTEMS: o NEW MEDIA: o SPATIAL SIMULATIONS: We are also planning a few special sessions, for example on Urban Development Models (to celebrate 40 years of work since the special issue of the JAIP in May 1965), Tools for Urbanization in Developing Countries, and Decision support for European Spatial Planning.
