Research Fellow/Research Officer position available:

The ARC Centre for Complex Systems in Brisbane, Australia has a position
available for a researcher to assist in the modelling of processes
associated with Air Traffic Control.

The successful candidate will work on two related projects, both
collaborations with the Key Centre for Human Factors and Applied Cognitive
Psychology at the University of Queensland and Airservices Australia. One
project is developing workload metrics for air-traffic controllers. The
other project is investigating new concepts for air-traffic control,
including "free flight".

The Centre seeks a motivated and innovative person with good modelling
skills to provide support to both projects. Applicants should have a
background in mathematics or a related field. Previous research experience
is essential. A PhD in a related area field is essential for appointment to
the Research Fellow position.
