At SwarmFest 2004, scientists, modelers, and programmers working in a wide variety of domains will have the opportunity to share their research, knowledge and experience with multi-agent modeling including (but not restricted to) the Swarm simulation system. Researchers using other Agent-based Modeling tools such as RePast, NetLogo, StarLogo, Mason, Ascape, AgentSheets, ABLE, EcoLab, JADE, JAS, SIM_AGENT, Zeus and others are invited to participate. Eric Bonabeau, Founder and Chief Scientist of Icosystem Corporation, and one of the leaders in the field of swarm intelligence, complex systems and distributed adaptive problem solving, will present the keynote address. The Swarm Development Group, a non-profit group dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art in multi agent based simulation through the continued advancement of the Swarm Simulation System and support of the Swarm user community, also uses the meeting to help determine future development priorities, so come and tell us what's on your mind! The meeting is a cross section of the community, historically including content suitable for both inexperienced and experienced users and researchers.
