Neuro Linguistic Programming: a tool for managing culture change

Comparative Indicators in Educational Development (CIED) event, 3 June 2004, Edinburgh College of Art
There are still places available for this event which will examine the usefulness of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to manage cultural change in learning and teaching. NLP has been a major tool in the field of personnel development and communication for some time but its application to higher education is relatively recent. The event will focus on how learning and teaching developers in HE can use NLP strategically to remove the barriers and facilitate the acceptance of change.
Attendees will gain an awareness of NLP and how it works together with practical examples of its application in HE. Information about how to buy NLP into a staff development programme will also be provided. Afternoon workshops will be offered in either the overall understanding on NLP or its application to HE.
There are limited numbers still available for the event, which will cost £60. If you would like to attend, please email Laila Burton ([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by Wednesday 19 May. Further information about the event is available from our website at www.ltsn.ac.uk > Events.
