Graduates as Global Citizens: quality education for life in the 21st Century - Conference 13 April 2005, London The Development Education Association (DEA) - in partnership with DFID, Universities UK, SCOP, The Higher Education Academy and THES - are holding a one day conference as part of their current drive to help higher education institutions to embed principles of global citizenship in the sector. This one day conference will provide a forum for higher education and sustainable development education stakeholders to examine critically the role and mission of HE in the context of current initiatives such as the government strategies for sustainable development and international education. It will be of particular interest to HEI Senior Managers; also to managers in FE colleges with HE links, curriculum developers and members of the development education and NGO community engaged in HE in the UK.
