Events Assistant - (Grade 2: 17,260 - £19, 965 ) The Royal Institution (Ri), famous for its televised Christmas lectures, is continuing its 205-year history of science communication with a major expansion of its events programme. Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen to join the Events Team. Primary duties will be to provide administrative support, process bookings and have an input into the content of the programme. You will maintain the events database, and assist with event logistics, marketing and evaluation. Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, have administrative experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases. Experience in events organisation and knowledge of science would be advantageous. The post will require excellent organisational and communication skills, a quickness to learn and an innovative outlook.
