Colleagues interested in communications work in astronomy, space science and particle physics may be interested in the coming PPARC community meeting on Communications in London on March 24th. MPs Dr Ian Gibson and Dr Evan Harris have accepted invitations to attend. The main themes will be - linking PPARC science and scientists with Parliament - sharing best practice in communications and outreach projects - major opportunities and UK developments in outreach and science education, including the new Science Learning Centres and Einstein Year There is opportunity for participants to bring posters, literature, etc for display at the meeting. Please register soon with Jane Butt now if you are interested. We encourage young scientists to attend, and we can pay for PPARC-funded PhD students' actual reasonable UK T&S costs in attending.
