 No. You are not alone....  and this event totally contradicts my understanding of this list carrying the name PhD Design which I have always somehow associated with concepts of  `search for truth`, honesty, dependability and reliabilirty.  
 
Now that my own generalization of such an association has been shattered, I guess I have to try not to fall in just the opposite trap of `negative` generalization. 
 
Thus, the list--that includes silent voices as well as loud ones, imaginary voices as well as real ones, people who see this incident as a moment to reflect upon and discuss intellectually as well as who find justification of deception as unacceptable (...and those who dont care...)-- is a rich, variable and complex enough mix which does not stand alone for a set of values only, but has tints of different understandings and perceptions of `right ` and `wrong` ,`ethical` and `unethical`, `search for truth` and `acceptance of illusion and play`.
