Subject: Occupational Health Provision for GPs

Here in N. Ireland GPs don't currently have OH provision.
Does anyone know how it is handled in GB?
Does anyone know if particular issues have arisen with GPs in providing such a service.
Would be very interested to hear others experiences as it looks like provision will be arranged over here, and they might be looking at us.
Many Thanks

ANHOPS has a standard for OH records on their website, I would use a combination of that the FOMs Ethics book and the NMC's standards for record keeping as a baseline for audit.

Where individuals are suggesting that they arent required to fulfil an allied professions standards, turn the standards into an organisational (departmental) policy and get them to acknowledge them this way.

Does anyone use / have an audit tool for the content of OH records and entries by different practitioners?
