I report to the head of compensation and benefits ( HR). The HR director is my "champion" which has been key in getting support for moving things forward etc. Previously at this firm the OHA reported to H and S, at this time OH had a much lower profile and a high turnover of OHAs. An audit by an external consultancy recommended that OH be moved to sit within HR and was championed by a senior figure ( partner or equivalent) . I feel that I have a lot of support and am very much left to manage OH, however, I am a aware of other similar firms where OH comes under HR and the relationship is not a happy one Kath Griffiths Occupational Health Manager Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer 65 Fleet Street EC4Y 1HS [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> 0207 716 4024 07966 961 821 This email and any attachments is strictly confidential. Also, information on the reporting structure, and where organisations are widespread, on UK and global reporting structure. Many thanks Regards Margaret Margaret Reddoch Occupational Health Manager Amersham PLC The Grove Centre Amersham Bucks.
