Thanks for this – what is the evidence base for your decisions?

Is this a policy decision?

Do you have it written anywhere?

Is it based on evidence?

Many thanks.

Hi there Martin,

as Carole says there arecontra indications towards catering and hospital staff - I work in Pharmaceuticals where our good manufacturing process requirements would prevent someone with this severity and location of skin problems being employed.

regards

Subject: psoriasis and fitness for work

Does anyone have any evidence base on fitness to work in someone with severe, scaling, generalised psoriasis affecting the scalp, face, arms, hands in the following: -

  1. Food handling
  2. Health care worker allied to medicine
  3. nurse

Many thanks.

Martin
