Hi Martin,

we do not routinely screen any staff for MRSA. We did a while ago following an episode in one area which caused concern, so all new staff going there were screened, not sure why as it was only a one off, ie they weren't routinely screened again once in post!

It has now stopped thankfully. I must admit the recent idea of screening all staff and sending those +ve home made me smile. The NHS would shut overnight.
