THE OH Competency framework is now in its third and final draft and open for consultation, Carol Woodward at the RCN is dealing with this. I would anticipate publication of the framework shortly. Of other interest The Royal Free in London were early implementers of agenda for change and produced some very good job descriptions for OH grades from G to I, they may be willing to share. regards David -----Original Message----- From: Cawley Therese [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: 20 July 2004 14:18 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: A4C Has anyone heard any further news on this and is it accessible yet? They are now in 2nd draft but not available electronically they will integrate with the DOH job evaluation guidelines and I would advise waiting for these before wasting time on developing your own regards DavidDavid R Maslen-Jones RGN BA Spohn MIOSH Clinical Nurse Manager, Occupational Health Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust Derriford Plymouth PL6 8DH Tel: 01752 517592 int:57592 [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: Audrey Du'Mont [ mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: 25 April 2004 06:13 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: A4C I wrote to the RCN as I hadn't seen any job profiles for OH Nurses on their website. The advice that came from their Employment Relations Department was that the majority of OH posts will have to be job evaluated locally with the resulting profiles produced. This was because there were such big variations in OH roles at Hospital Trust level across the country. They reckoned the banding could be between 6-8 depending on the results of that local job evaluation. We shall see! Regards Audrey Du'Mont ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please remove this footer before replying.
