In the power generating industry we used to undertake emergency first aid training for electricians on an annual basis.  I can't check at present but I believe that there is a requirement under the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Kind regards,

Maggie.

Hi Kennie,

I'm soory i'm unable to clarify this for you. I suspect that it is good practice for electricians as I have no recollection of encountering this in other industries where electricians have been employed.

Kind regards,

Giuliana

Hi,

I worked for a utility provider in the past and emergency first aid / CPR training was conducted annually for electricians irrespective of the voltage on which they worked.

kind regards,

Giuliana.

Could anybody advise whether all their electricians undergo CPR training or is it just a requirement for electricians dealing with high voltage.

Kind regards

Sarah
