Please see below the text of an advertisement for a Research Fellow within The Leeds School of Art Architecture and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University, the application deadline for which has now been extended to Monday 16 February 2004: Leeds Metropolitan University The Leeds School of Art, Architecture and Design Research Fellow (Temporary - 2 years) Salary Scale: Researcher B (Pts 7-11) £22,948 - £ 26,618 We are seeking a Research Fellow to work alongside staff whose research involves interdisciplinary approaches to immaterial practices in contemporary visual culture. You would take responsibility for supporting, enabling and contributing to the development and organisation of events and publications to promote the discussion and dissemination of this research and practice. A PhD, or equivalent, relevant to contemporary and interdisciplinary practices in art and design is required, together with experience of curating, publishing and/or organising academic/cultural events and experience/ability in the initiation and development of successful research bids/funding applications.
