A postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Prof. Michael Collins at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University.

The successful candidate will work  on "The dynamics of chemical reactions involving multiple electronic states". The successful candidate will collaborate on the development and application of methods to construct the multiple potential energy surfaces and coupling terms which govern nonadiabatic chemical reactions. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in theoretical chemistry, with strong mathematical and computational skills and with experience in chemical dynamics. Some experience with electronic structure calculations would be advantage. The position would be for a period of two years.

Details of the position and application procedure will be available on the Research School of Chemistry website from May 11 (http://rsc.anu.edu.au/RSC/Positions/AcademicPositions/RSC Academic Positions.html
