OK, I know its a long way from the UK to the other side of Canada, but the website about this conference has some interesting info - and the conference itself looks very interesting, albeit a bit expensive at over £400 for the conference alone! On the 'Mines and Money' website there is a lot of interest - for example there is a link to another site with details on Britannia Mines reclamation work. (This is a large mine north of Vancouver about 2/3 of the way to Squamish, which unless I am wrong is partly a show mine - at least it was).
