27th Triennial Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives Congress 2005
INVITATION TO SUBMIT PRESENTATIONS

The ICM 27th Triennial Congress in 2005 is calling for submissions from midwives, midwifery educators and maternity service activists from around the globe who work to enhance midwifery and the welfare of women and families.

Not only are we seeking innovative, exciting research papers and scholarly writings for plenary sessions and poster presentations, but also creatively presented stories from the field expressed through prose, poetry, painting, sculpture, music and dance. Submissions from each of the categories: Research, Scholarly Writing and Stories from the Field will be assessed using specific criteria (see Congress website). Submissions should address the ICM philosophy and the Congress theme “Midwifery: Pathways to a Healthy Nation”.
