Please find attached a programme for a mentoring workshop to be held in Edinburgh 24th November 2004.

This free workshop has been developed by, and will be delivered in partnership with, the 4 professional associations involved with museums, libraries and archives. All participants will receive a complimentary mentoring toolkit. 

The workshop includes a sector specific surgery for participants from the library and information community, which will be run by Margaret Watson, Past President of CILIP. It will provide an ideal opportunity for CILIP members to gain an overview of mentoring, what it is and how to be successful, ahead of the introduction of the CILIP Mentoring Scheme as part of the new Framework of Qualifications in 2005.
