A few places remain for the Knowledge Agent Symposium on Monday 11 October.
A chance to hear of an exciting initiative in knowledge and information work.

Knowledge Agency is an innovative concept that faces the real need in
today's organisations to facilitate learning and creativity in those who
generate, and those who exploit, information and knowledge. Knowledge Agents
go out into the communities they support, actively solict work and work
directly with their clients

The aim of this one day symposium is to review and advance the principles
and practice of Knowledge Agency as part of a larger consultancy including
its constituent parts and to form a community of practice for the range of
consultants that form this field.

Papers will be presented by Professor Max Boisot (Open University of
Catalunya, Barcelona), Dave Snowdon, Director of Cynefin Centre for the
Study of Organisational Complexity, Victor Newman (Pfizer's Chief Learning
Officer), Dr Clare Fitzsimmons (Dstl Knowledge Agent) and David
Holland-Smith(Dstl Knowledge Team Leader).

The symposium will interest members of the knowledge and information
profession; those seeking to developsimilar consultancies;infrastructure
providers; researchers interested in the theory and practice of social
learning, and those responsible for group learning in organisations.
