Aslib Biosciences Group is pleased to announce a summer visit to The Library
& Archives of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. A major resource for RBG Kew's
research and advisory work in world-wide systematic botany and mycology, and
in conservation, the Library has one of the largest collections of material
in the world relating to botany including 150,000 monographs, 4,000
periodical titles (of which 1500 are currently received) and 200,000 prints
and drawings. For details see http://www.kew.org/library.
The visit will include tours of the library, archives and gardens, which
were accorded World Heritage Site status in 2003. There is likely to be a
heavy demand for places, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
