Members are advised that ballot papers for the annual elections will be distributed with the next issue of Gazette due for publication this Friday (19 November). Corporate Members (Honorary Fellows, Chartered Fellows, Chartered Members and Associates) will receive  separately packaged ballot papers with the Gazette for the posts of President Elect and National Councillors. A prepaid envelope for response will also be provided and both ballot papers should be returned in the same envelope.

There is also an election for the University, College and Research Group Councillor. Corporate members and Affiliates are eligible to vote in this election. Ballot papers will be sent out by post and should arrive within the next few days.

Eligible Overseas Members will receive their ballot papers in the post, including the ballot paper for the University, College and Research Group Councillor where appropriate.

All ballot papers should be returned in the envelopes provided and received at the Ridgmount Street Offices of CILIP by no later than  Friday 10 December 2004. The count will take place at the Ridgmount Street Offices of CILIP on Wednesday 15 December starting at 11.00am. Members are entitled to observe the count. Successful candidates in the election will take up their positions on CILIP Council on 1 April 2005.
