Dear colleagues Details of selected international events, including european funding opportunities, can be found on the Calendar of Events section CILIP website at: http://www.cilip.org.uk/advocacy/intevents.html. The page is updated roughly once a fortnight and you are welcome to add details to the page.(If you suggest an event for inclusion, please give a weblink if at all possible to further details).I am also happy if colleagues wish to use the information in their group or branch newsletters or e-lists. Colleagues should also look out for the international news section in Gazette which,I often use to highlight events of special interest or value and European opportunities. There will be no let up in the Summer months, so please keep a look out for your fortnighly edition of Gazette. Those colleagues who really want to keep on top of European Programmes and funding opportunties might like to consider signing up for ALERT,a free electronic newsletter summarising cultural information and opportunities from across Europe, with a particular focus on EU funding and information. Although produced by EUCLID the UK contact point for the Culture 2000 progaramme,ALERT also keeps you informed about other EU programmes as well, including details of calls for proposals. http://www.euclid.info/uk/opportunities/index.htm#2 Last, but not least, if you haven't already signed up to the International News Bulletin, you can do so at: http://www.cilip.org.uk/info/bulletins.html Free to CILIP members. The next edition is due out in the last week of July, so there's still plenty of time to sign up for the next one. Best regards Julie Julie Robinson International Officer CILIP
