Dear all, I have a reader who wants to read modern detective novels in French. We have a small collection of French fiction, mostly donations from the 60s and 70s, which includes only 3 novels in this genre (one each by Simenon, Agatha Christie and Nicholas Freeling). The rest are mainly general fiction, with a sizable amount of historical romances and war novels. Does anybody out there have any suitable items available for ILL? Or can suggest anywhere else I can try? I have phoned Birmingham Public who referred ne to SEALS, but they only lend within the West Midlands Region.
