Hi,

The rpm openldap-alt is not used by the GRIS, globus uses its own
modified slapd.

/opt/globus/libexec/slapd

Check that the following is in the slapd.conf file that you use.

modulepath      /opt/globus/libexec/openldap/gcc32dbgpthr
moduleload      libback_giis.la
moduleload      libback_ldif.la
