Hi, I want to add the installation of a DESY-specific 'd-cache-client-1.0-19' RPM to LCFGng. But fail. It just not arriving at the target machine ... I edited the source file in the rpmlist accordingly: /* WorkerNode-rpm.h ================================================================ Customized RPM list for a WorkerNode */ /* DESY dCache stuff */ d-cache-client-1.0-19 /* MPICH */ mpich-1.2.5-1 edg-gridftp-client-1.2.5-1 edg-brokerinfo_gcc3_2_2-2.1-5 /* GFAL lib to access MSS*/ CGSI_gSOAP_2.3-1.1.3-1 GFAL-client-1.3.8-1 /* LCG extra tools */ lcg_util-1.0.9-1 /* experiment software distribution tool */ lcg-ManageSoftware-1.9-2 And copied the RPM to the directory. It is visible from the machine I want to install: [root@uhh001 root]# ll /export/local/linux/7.3/RPMS/external/d-cache-client-1.0-19.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6953070 Sep 6 10:57 /export/local/linux/7.3/RPMS/external/d-cache-client-1.0-19.i386.rpm Manual installation via rpm works from the NFS-mounted dir. So the RPM is there. Also explicit installation via 'updaterpms' works: [root@uhh001 root]# /etc/obj/updaterpms installrpm /export/local/linux/7.3/RPMS/external/d-cache-client-1.0-19.i386.rpm [INFO] updaterpms: InstallRPM /export/local/linux/7.3/RPMS/external/d-cache-client-1.0-19.i386.rpm [OK] updaterpms: InstallRPM The update maechanism does not for reasons I don't understand: /etc/obj/updaterpms start ... [WARNING] updaterpms: Couldn't find RPM header file for d-cache-client-1.0-19 ... Is there any other place wehre the RPM has to be mentoined to LCFGng?
