APA Division 33 (MRDD) is now accepting membership applications!!
 
Division 33 of the American Psychological Association is an organization of psychologists concerned with research and practice in the field of mental retardation and developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Congenital Vision & Hearing Impairments, Fragile X and Down's Syndrome, and other rare genetic and developmental disorders.
 
The purpose of the Division is to unite in a single professional organization all members of the American Psychological Association who are interested in the psychological and social aspects of developmental disabilities and their amelioration.
 
Key Membership Benefits
 
Networking with an international group of psychologists concerned with psychology and developmental disabilities.
 
Psychology in Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities; the widely acclaimed and frequently cited newsletter of the Division is published three times a year. Members are offered opportunities to publish in these newsletters.
 
Access to forums for the presentation of research and scholarship in developmental disabilities.
 
Participation in the Division program at the APA annual convention. (Convention discount offered for APA members)
